Xiaomi reigns in Europe
For the first time in history, the first place in Europe was Xiaomi.In the second quarter of 2021, the Chinese brand delivered as much as 12.7 million smartphones to the European market (25.3 percent of shares), which improved its result from a year ago by 67.1 percent.The second place went to the current and long -term leader, i.e. Samsung.The difference is not great, because Koreans have achieved the result of 12 million smartphones and 24 percent market share in the Old Continent.A disturbing for Samsung, however, may be a decrease in year to year by 7 percent.It is a signal that the brand clearly loses popularity among European users.
The next places in the Startgy Analytics ranking went on: Apple (9.6 million / 19.2 percent.), Oppo (2.8 million / 5.6 percent.) and Realme (1.9 million / 3.8 percent.).What is worth noticing, the last two companies recorded year -on -year increases by 180 and 1800 percent!Other producers who have not been exchanged on the list are responsible for delivering 11.1 million smartphones to stores, which corresponds to 22.2 percent of the entire market.
