The premiere of the new Xiaomi smartphones from the 12 series is approaching. In addition to the already known models, another one has appeared in the leaks - Xiaomi 12X.
Among the announced models of the Chinese manufacturer at the end of December or at the beginning of next year, according to various sources, the Xiaomi 12, Xiaomi 12 Pro, Xiaomi 12 Ultra and Xiaomi 12 Ultra Enhanced models are to debut. Recently, reports began to appear about Xiaomi 12 mini and Xiaomi 12 SE, and now this list has been completed by Xiaomi 12X.

A Polish tipster, Kacper Skrzypek, focused around the MIUI community, came across the trail of the new Xiaomi phone. He reached the documentation, where the Xiaomi 12X with the symbol 2112123AG and the code name "Psyche" is directly mentioned. A phone with this name has appeared before, but it could not be associated with market markings.
According to Kacper Skrzypek, Xiaomi 12X is a smartphone with an AMOLED screen with a diagonal of 6.28 inches and Full HD+ resolution (1080 x 2400), presenting HDR10 content (it is rather HDR10+). The display has a high refresh rate of 120 Hz.
The diagonal of the screen is not very large for the latest Xiaomi models, but the author of the leak stipulates that this value was calculated on the basis of the dimensions of 145.4 x 65.4 mm. The 6.28-inch display is also to be found in the Xiaomi 12 mini.
Xiaomi 12X will be powered by the Snapdragon 870 system (7 nm), i.e. a renewed version of the good old Snapdragon 865+, with cores with a maximum clock speed of 3.2 GHz. Of course, the phone will provide 5G connectivity.
The smartphone will also be equipped with a camera with a 50 Mpix matrix.

The other parameters are not yet known, but to a large extent the reports about Xiaomi 12X coincide with what we already know about Xiaomi 12 mini. It is possible that this is the same model, and it will be introduced to selected global markets under a new name. If so, it is known that it will not be India, where global phone models with separate markings are often presented. There, the Mi 11X debuted earlier, but it was a variant of the Chinese Redmi K40 and the POCO F3 known from global markets. This time, however, it will be different.
