Thanks to this specification, the smartphone records very good results in synthetic tests, which also translates into the comfort of everyday use. The Samsung Galaxy S20 is also a smartphone that is not afraid of games, including very demanding ones. When using the device, I have not encountered a situation where the components were insufficient to ensure the highest possible quality of the luminaire and smooth operation.
The screen in the Samsung Galaxy S20 is also the highest shelf, additionally with one novelty in relation to the Galaxy S10. We have a Dynamic AMOLED display here, which perfectly reproduces colors and is characterized by very good quality of the displayed image. What's new is the refresh rate of 120Hz. Accustomed to 60Hz, you will immediately see the difference, and the higher refresh rate significantly changes the perception of the smartphone's smoothness. Animations seem to be much faster, which can be felt every time you use the device. Galaxy S20 is also a great companion when watching multimedia - even movies and series thanks to HDR10 + technology.
There is no good smartphone without great photos, and here the Samsung Galaxy S20 does not break with the long-standing tradition of sensational cameras mounted in flagships of the Korean manufacturer.
On paper, the specifications of the cameras look very good, but practice is more important. And in practice, the photos are super-sharp, properly saturated with colors. The lighting conditions don't really matter here. If you want to take a photo at night, a dedicated night mode with a long exposure time comes in handy, thanks to which the camera catches much more light and properly illuminates the objects captured in the photo. In addition, the technology of combining 9 pixels in 1 ensures even better quality of night photos.

We also have video recording using HDR10 + technology and stereo sound recording. I think that with these photographic and film possibilities, you can forget about taking a camera with you, and the photo album will not suffer from it. The smartphone is also always at hand, so there is no chance that any interesting shot will escape.
A great smartphone is not only hardware but also software
It used to be said that the hardware is as good as the software for it. On the one hand, we have Android 10 - a system that has made great progress over the years and is now legible and innovative. On the other hand, the manufacturer's overlay - in the case of Samsung, it is a nicely designed and intuitive One UI 2.0. But it's not just about how the overlay changes the system visually, because Samsung has some cool features up its sleeve that it has just introduced to the Galaxy S20.
One of them is Single Take, or one shot, which is one of the camera options - it records what the camera eye currently sees, and then creates a series of shots and recordings on this basis. Later, he gives us such a set and we can choose the shots that we like the most. It is very convenient, especially on busy frames, when we are not quite sure which element to focus the camera's attention on. While recording video in 8K resolution, we can capture the selected frame of the recorded video and take a high-resolution photo of it. Samsung Galaxy S20 is also a great working Super Steady stabilization, thanks to which you can say goodbye to both blurred photos and shaky video recordings. And yes, you think right - the smartphone gimbal can be hidden in a drawer.
Samsung One UI 2.0 also integrates Samsung apps, such as Samsung Health and SmartThings. The first one is a kind of hub monitoring our activity, you will like it very much using one of the Korean manufacturer's smartwatches. The second concerns home devices - I use SmartThings myself very often, operating my Samsung air conditioning from this application.
And don't forget about Samsung DeX, with which you can work on your smartphone like on a computer. Just connect a monitor or TV, mouse and keyboard to extend the capabilities of the smartphone, which in this mode really resembles a computer. A very convenient feature especially for traveling people who want to get rid of the laptop from the bag. Samsung Knox is a comprehensive security platform that will protect both your smartphone and its software from unauthorized access.
Galaxy S20 is also artificial intelligence, which on the one hand will help you take pictures by recognizing the surroundings and properly selecting camera parameters, but will also learn the user's habits to optimize performance and energy consumption.
Don't forget about third-party apps either. Samsung Galaxy S20 works great with Microsoft solutions. The programs are already installed after taking the smartphone out of the box - we have Microsoft OneDrive here, which is a cloud with a capacity of up to 1TB to which you can send files from the phone and open those sent from the computer. Microsoft 365, on the other hand, includes popular programs such as Word, Excel and Powerpoint. In addition, thanks to the Samsung DeX mode, you can use them in full-screen mode, with mouse and keyboard support.
Samsung Galaxy S20 has two more interesting features. Link to Windows allows you to send messages, manage notifications, sync photos and mirror your phone's screen to Windows PCs - you can even copy and paste files between your smartphone and your computer.
Smart Switch is a great convenience for people changing their phone. The application allows you to easily and quickly transfer data, programs and settings from the old phone to the new Galaxy S20 - this applies not only to Android, but also to other systems.
So as you can see, the Samsung Galaxy S20 is a flagship that does not make any compromises. But this is no surprise, because the series has accustomed us to it many years ago.
