The good news is that although Android 12 and One UI 4 tests are to be launched in only a few countries in the first place, Poland is on their list. The comments made by users are to be taken into account during the development of the software.
Android 12 and One UI 4: new features
In the One UI 4 & hairsp; - & hairsp; overlay, just like in Android 12 & hairsp; - & hairsp;, a lot of emphasis was to be placed on design. Samsung announces more extensive tools to configure the appearance of the home screen, icons, notifications, wallpapers and "many other" interface elements.
The new software is also expected to bring improved widgets. You can count on the fact that they will be visually unified.
One UI 4 is to provide convenient access to a larger and more diverse set of emoticons and stickers.
Android 12 will give users more control over privacy. The user will be able to view the permission history for the last 7 days to see which applications have gained access to the camera, microphone or location.
When an application is currently using the camera or microphone, an indicator will appear in the status bar and in the notification panel.
There are certainly more new features for Android 12 and One UI 4. Samsung, however, used to brag about all the news at special presentations around November.
Android 12 and One UI 4: how to join the tests?
First, the tests will cover users of the Galaxy S21, S21 + and S21 Ultra models. The beta program will only be available in Poland, China, India, Germany, South Korea, Great Britain and the United States.
The exact start date of Android 12 and One UI 4 tests is to depend on the market. Information on the possibility of trying the new version of the software is to appear in the Samsung Members application, but at the time of writing this text I do not see it at home yet.
Android 12 and One UI 4: when is the update?
Samsung promises that the final release of Android 12 and the One UI 4 overlay will go to the first users this year. However, this probably only applies to the S21 series.
The remaining smartphones of the software should be released in 2022, and the entire process will probably take several months.
