Samsung New Zealand wanted to make a brilliant joke, but not everyone liked this kind of marketing.
A few months ago we wrote about the iTest web application, which was prepared by Samsung's New Zealand branch. iPhone users can test One UI software, known from Galaxy phones, through a special website.
It turns out that Samsung has put a rather controversial message in its program.
Samsung promotes One UI taunting Steve Jobs
"Samsung users are unique and they want their phones to be unique as well. No turtleneck wearer should decide what your phone looks like" - reads the description of the function that allows you to change the graphic theme.
The company obviously refers to Steve Jobs, who died in 2011 and was known for his passion for black turtlenecks and reluctance to personalize. In his time, iPhones were sold in two color versions, and only in the fourth generation there was such a prosaic option as the ability to change the wallpaper.
