Do you remember Samsung Galaxy A Quantum? Probably not, because in our part of the world last year's premiere went unnoticed. A pity, because it is one of the most original smartphones in the world.
It was the first phone with quantum security, which — according to the current state of knowledge about physics — is impossible to break.
The chip used in the Galaxy A Quantum uses an LED diode and a photographic matrix that records the light generated by it. The collected data is then changed into a string of zeros and ones. Next comes the magic of quantum mechanics.
Photons move in a completely unpredictable way, making the numbers generated in this way random in the truest sense of the word. This is the opposite of the commonly used pseudo-random number generators, which always work according to a specific key.
No wonder that the Galaxy A Quantum was baptized by the media as the safest smartphone in the world.
Samsung is now working on the Galaxy Quantum 2
This name has been noticed in the Google Play Console database, which means that very advanced work is underway on the new generation.
The leak reveals the appearance of the front panel and that the specification includes Snapdragon 855+, 1080p screen and Android 11.
The release date of the Samsung Galaxy Quantum 2 is not yet known. Availability in Europe is also questionable.
