Samsung Galaxy S22 version with the Exynos 2200 processor will also appear in countries where only the Snapdragon variant has been sold so far.
Although there are a few months left until the premiere of the new Samsung flagships, more and more information about devices from the Samsung Galaxy S22 family is leaking to the network. We already know that they will be powered by the new Samsung Exynos 2200 and Qualcomm Snapdragon 898 processors. Especially the first promises to be interesting, as it will be the first Korean system prepared jointly with AMD and equipped with a graphics system based on the RDNA2 architecture. According to rumors, this is to translate into an exceptionally large performance jump, and for the first time in many years, it is the version with Exynos that may turn out to be the better variant of the new "eska".
Samsung Galaxy S22 with Exynos also in the US
As it turns out, this has very interesting consequences, as many operators began to pressure Samsung to provide them with an Exynos version of the phone. As a result, this variant of the new smartphones would appear in the offer of Verizon in the USA and China Telecom in China, although so far in both countries Korean flagships have been offered only in the Snapdragon version. The Qualcomm chip would be used for the first time in devices for the Indian market. However, nothing changes when it comes to Europe - here we will see phones with Exynos again.
Okay, so if the new Exynos is so successful, why doesn't Samsung equip all S22s with it? Another problem here is accessibility. The yield of the new systems is to be extremely low, which is already causing friction within the internal structures of the giant. It remains to keep your fingers crossed that this will not negatively affect the prices and availability of devices in Polish stores.
Of course, it is worth bearing in mind that the above information comes from unofficial sources, and most of the decisions we are talking about are not final. Until the premiere of the devices themselves, many of them may become outdated, especially in the face of the ongoing crisis on the integrated circuit market.
