Samsung presented its new, inexpensive 5G smartphone in India.The Galaxy M42 5G will go on sale on May 1, 2021, offering the Super AMOLED, Snapdragon 750G display and a 5000 mAh battery.
Galaxy M42 5G is Samsung's latest proposition that debuts in India.A device measuring 164.4 x 75.9 x 8.6 mm and a mass of 190 g has a 6.6-inch Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels in front.The screen is integrated with an optical fingerprint reader and has a small indentation on top, housing the lens of the front camera with a resolution of 20 Mpix (f/2.2).The next four cameras are at the back, in the configuration: 48 Mpix (Samsung Isocell GM2, f/1.8) + 8 Mpix (f/2.2, ultra -ultrazerocal) + 5 Mpix (f/2.4, macro) + 5 Mpix (f/2.4, sensordepth).

The Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G chipset works inside the housing, supported by 6 or 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of mass storage (UFS 2.1).Data space can be extended with an additional 1 TB using microSD memory cards.The smartphone offers 5G connectivity, as well as Wi-Fi AC, Bluetooth 5 and NFC.The set also includes a 5000 mAh battery with 15 W. Android 11 with the One UI 3.1 interface.
Availability and price
Samsung Galaxy M42 5G will be available in India from May 1 this year on samsung.com and amazon.in.The device was valued at 21999 Rupia (PLN 1114) in the case of a variant with 6 GB of RAM and 23999 Rupia (PLN 1216) for a version with 8 GB.There will be two color versions to choose from: Prism Dot Black (Black) and Prism Dot Gray (gray).
