Samsung is working on the successor to the Galaxy A72 smartphone. The new model, the Galaxy A73 5G, will have a waterproof housing, a large AMOLED display and a 108 Mpix camera.
Samsung Galaxy A73 5G is another mid-range smartphone with support for fifth generation mobile networks, will be presented by the Korean manufacturer. Leaks so far show that the device will be equipped with a flat AMOLED display with a diagonal of 6.7 inches and FullHD + resolution, probably able to refresh the image with a frequency of 120 Hz. Under the screen there will be a fingerprint reader, and through the hole in the upper part the light will fall on the matrix of the front camera (12 Mpix or 32 Mpix). There will be four cameras on the back, including the main unit with a resolution of 108 Mpix.

The housing of the new smartphone will be made of plastic and will be resistant to water and dust, probably in accordance with the IP67 standard. Inside it, the Qualcomm Snapdragon A73 chipset can work, supported by 6 or 8 GB of RAM and 128 or 256 GB of storage. The Galaxy A73 5G will not have a 3.5mm audio jack. A 5000 mAh battery with fast charging is responsible for powering all components, and the factory-installed system will be Android 12 with the One UI 4.0 interface.

Samsung Galaxy A73 5G will probably hit the market in the second quarter of 2022. The price will probably be similar to the Galaxy A72 model, which at the time of its premiere cost PLN 1999 (6/128 GB) in Poland.
