Netflix in Poland is available under subscription plans in three plans that differ in price, quality of movies and the number of devices that can use the account at the same time. Depending on the plan, we have to pay PLN 29, 43 or 60 per month. In other countries, however, both the number of plans available and their prices vary.

For example, in 2019 in India, the company tested an extremely cheap ($ 3 a month) plan, but the limitation was the ability to watch movies only from the mobile application. This option was later made available in several other countries as well.
Netflix in Kenya available for free
Now Netflix has decided to encourage users in Kenya in a rather surprising way. The company said on Monday that it would be releasing a completely free plan in the African country. It is to be added to the existing options in the coming weeks.
The free plan will be available to every adult internet user in Kenya, but only from the level of the application on Android smartphones. Interestingly, the platform will not even require users to provide their payment card details during registration, and viewing will not be interrupted by advertisements. As part of the free subscription, users will be made available to about 1/4 of the entire catalog of movies and series available to Netflix.
The company has already offered free plans in some markets in the past, but only as part of a trial period or for a limited period (e.g. in India, Netflix was available to everyone during the weekend). This is the first time that the platform has made such a plan available in the world on a permanent basis.
All because Netflix wants to attract as many internet users as possible, of whom there are about 20 million in Kenya. He probably hopes that some of them later decide to switch to a paid subscription. Unfortunately, it is not known if the free plan will be made available in other countries around the world in the future.
New feature in the Netflix app
Users from other countries will have to be content with the new feature, which Netflix apparently tests and maybe in some time will also make it available in Poland. When on a mobile device, while watching a movie, we reduce the volume to zero, the application will automatically display the subtitles.
