Connecting your smartwatch to your phone may seem like a daunting task, but it's not. The bigger problem is finding a way to use this pair well. There are several apps worth using.
Each smartwatch, whether it's Samsung, Xiaomi, Huawei or Apple, connects to a smartphone via Bluetooth. To do this, first of all, we need to enable Bluetooth connectivity on your smartphone. In most Android smartphones, we will do it by expanding the shortcut bar from the top of the screen.
If we didn't find the Bluetooth icon there, we need to find "Settings" among our applications. Then we look for the "Connection to the device" section and select "Bluetooth". Now in the list of available devices we are looking for our smartwatch.
Some smartwatches, such as those from Huawei, can be connected to the smartphone directly in a dedicated application. It is, for example, Huawei Zdrowie/Huawei Health. For example, I connect my Watch GT smartwatch in this application, in the devices section.
Smartwatches with Wear OS - how to connect to your phone?
First of all, we need to download the Wear OS application from the Google Play Store. Then we look for the "Configure" button and then follow the instructions displayed on the watch screen. Then the name of our smartwatch should appear on the smartphone screen.
We click on it, and then a code should appear on the screen of the phone and watch. If the codes are the same, click "pair" on the phone. Then we wait, it may take a while. If the codes differ, we must restart the smartwatch and repeat the process.
