Vectra introduces a number of improvements that can please many users! Television and the Internet have never been so close.
Television operators are taking more and more interesting steps to understand the changing world. The novelties concern the intertwining of VOD services, internet services, as well as classic television, which is becoming an attractive choice for many households again.
What's new in Vectra?
The largest cable TV operator in Poland introduces a modern Wi-Fi 6 modem to its offer, and with it a completely new quality of using the network. What's more, in response to the growing needs of users, Vectra provides a high-bandwidth internet package of up to 1.2 Gbps.
At the same time, the company is investing in the further development of the TV Smart TV platform, thanks to which the customer can take the best entertainment with him practically everywhere. In addition, for the second time this year, Vectra has prepared a promotion offering access to Netflix for up to 12 months as a gift.

The Vectra Group has launched an autumn advertising campaign in which it presents a new version of its offer based on the possibilities of super-fast fiber optic internet and the TV Smart TV platform. The main theme of the campaign is the slogan "Always where you are", emphasizing Vectra's mission to be close to customers. As part of the new campaign, many promotions are waiting for the subscribers of the operator, which are again presented in the advertising materials by a well-known actor - Cezary Pazura.
Among the novelties on offer, the Wi-Fi 6 modem deserves special attention, guaranteeing a fast and stable internet connection. The device is distinguished by support for the latest Wi-Fi 6 wireless communication standard, which significantly improves the operation of the home wireless network by offering, among others, higher transfers and seamless support for multiple devices (including the growing number of smart/IoT devices) and Dual Band Concurrent mode, enabling simultaneous use of the 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands. The Wi-Fi 6 modem also supports a smart Wi-Fi network based on the Easy Mesh standard.
To meet the growing needs of users related to the bandwidth of their Internet connection, Vectra introduces speeds up to 1.2 Gbps to its offer. From September 1. residents of Warsaw can take advantage of a 1.2 Gbps internet package with access to Netflix for 12 months as a gift for PLN 49.99 for the first 6 months. Importantly, the new speed is available not only in points, but in almost the entire capital.
How much does it cost?

As part of Vectra's new offer, the prices of all internet packages have been reduced for half a year. Regardless of the chosen variant (300 Mb/s, 450 Mb/s, 600 Mb/s or 1.2 Gb/s), the monthly fee will be PLN 49.99 for the first 6 months of using the service. What's more, as part of all available options of the Internet service, the operator's customers can also use the Steel Package with access to 39 channels without additional fees and without a set-top box.
In turn, each of the offers combining the TV Smart TV platform and fiber-optic internet services is available for PLN 69.99 for the first six months. The promotion applies to all new customers, regardless of the internet speed and number of TV channels they choose.
In addition, new subscribers receive a TV Smart 4K BOX set-top box at no additional charge and access to the TIDAL music service, offering over 70 million songs without ads in the best sound quality for 6 months, and 1 month of access to Online Press with over 100 titles nationwide press and about 20 local press titles as a gift.

Smart TV is more than television
Smart TV is a combination of the world of traditional linear television with the world of the Internet rich in multimedia content - in practice, this means a wide selection of films from one of the largest VOD libraries in Poland and traditional TV channels . It is also access to the largest SVOD services in the world, including Netflix, Amazon Prime, HBO Go, and recently Viaplay, a new one on the Polish market, but also countless Android TV applications.
The platform is based on the modern Smart 4K BOX TV set-top box, which also supports content in the high 4K standard, as well as the Chromecast / AirPlay protocol, which allows you to send the image from another device to the TV. As part of the device's wide range of additional services, it is also possible to obtain access to programs broadcast in the TV schedule up to 7 days back (Catch-up TV function).

Thanks to the Restart TV function, it is possible to watch the material currently broadcast on TV from the beginning, as well as rewind the content. The nPVR recorder saves materials in the cloud, thanks to which they can also be accessed from other devices. The Smart 4K BOX TV set-top box additionally offers access to applications from the Google Play store, voice search option, content recommendation and the ability to connect a game pad, as well as intuitive operation.
What's more, TV channels and movies, cartoons and series on demand, as well as applications and games can be used not only on the set-top box, but also on other devices, on Android (also as part of Android TV) and iOS. Smart TV provides unlimited access to information, entertainment and education from anywhere - also beyond the reach of the Vectra Group network.
