The announcement of new Samsung devices can probably be considered official.
According to unofficial reports, Samsung's next big premiere is scheduled for August 11. So far, however, the manufacturer himself has not confirmed this date. Or at least not consistently, because for a short while information about the next Unpacked could be found on the website of the Russian Samsung branch.
Meanwhile, Bixby confirms: the next Galaxy Unpacked will take place on August 11
A Twitter user with the nickname @FrontTron noticed that Samsung's virtual assistant, after asking about the date of the next big premiere, gives a rather unconventional answer.
In fact, & hairsp; - & hairsp ;, when I asked Bixby about the Galaxy Unpacked event, he replied "listen carefully" and then generated a sequence of beeps.
It doesn't take a genius to figure out it's a Morse code message. After decoding the message using an online converter, I saw "AUGUST11"
It got more interesting when I asked Bixby about the premiere dates of Galaxy Z Folda 3, Z Flip 3, Watcha 4 and S21 FE
Instead of asking for Unpacked, I asked questions one by one about the expected devices. In the case of Galaxy Z Fold 3, Z Flip 3 and Watch 4 models, Bixby generates an encoded response with the said date. But after asking about the Galaxy S21 FE, the virtual assistant only suggests visiting the Samsung.com website.
Let me remind you that unofficial sources do not agree on when the S21 FE will appear. According to some, it will be presented together with folding smartphones and new watches. Others, however, claim that its premiere had to be postponed to September or October due to the limited availability of chips.
Apparently, Bixby doesn't know anything about the Galaxy S21 FE, so the second option seems more likely.
PS Bixby also does not provide any answers about the Galaxy Note 21, so it's time to abandon all hope.
