The Google phone application will allow you to automatically record calls to unknown numbers

It looks like the new phone app update will allow you to automatically record calls to unknown numbers.

The XDA Developers team regularly finds interesting things by analyzing the source codes of subsequent versions of various applications. It is the same now too. It seems that the new version of the phone application will allow automatic recording of calls to unknown numbers. Last year, Google introduced a new option to record calls directly from the phone's default application, but it was only available to owners of Google Pixel models and selected Nokia and Xiaomi models. Now, in turn, the user will be able to decide for himself whether or not to automatically record such calls.

The information about the recording will work the same as before. Both sides will hear the message. The data from the recorded conversation will be available on the recording phone, so Google informs in the source code that the user is obliged to comply with local law. For example, in many countries, recording can only take place with the consent of the other party. Of course, that doesn't mean Google won't opt out of introducing this feature, but we can see that it is seriously considering it.
