Adding a signature to documents
It's always a problem when someone sends you a document by e-mail that you have to sign. You end up printing it, signing it, and then scanning it. End of it. Download the PDF file attached to the message, click the drawing tools icon in the upper right corner. A menu with drawing tools and a "+" sign will appear at the bottom. Enter it and you will see the "Signature" option there. You select the "Add or remove signature" option and on the smartphone screen you can use your finger to create a signature added to subsequent documents.
Hidden iPhone Features - Receive Flash Notifications
If you never hear your phone when you receive a message, you can turn on your camera's flash to flash every time you get a notification. Select Settings> Accessibility> Sound / Visual> Light Blink Alerts.
Writing an e-mail attachment
If you want to pinpoint something specific in a photo or PDF that was attached to an email, you can easily put a big red circle around it. You can add various notes, a drawing, a zoom window, and the caption mentioned above. Open the attachment, click the writing tool icon in the upper right corner. Then click the plus button in the lower right corner to add text, a caption or use the zoom tool.
Create text replacements
AutoCorrect can get in the way at times, and then the iPhone actually takes control of what you write. What to do to prevent this from happening? Go to Settings> General> Keyboard> Text Replacement and tap the plus sign in the upper-right corner. There you can create shortcuts for frequently used words.
Spotlight is not only about searching
If you need a quick currency conversion, just swipe right on your phone and enter Spotlight. A search bar will appear at the top of the screen. Just enter "€ 20 to USD" and the result will appear at the top. You can also use this function to perform quick math operations.
AssistiveTouch and its options
Some iPhone tricks can be a little complicated. For example, holding down the home button and lock button on older models to take a screenshot. AssistiveTouch is an iPhone feature that lets you do this with one click. Go to Settings> Accessibility> Touch> AssistiveTouch. When enabled, a white circle will appear on the screen. Click "Customize Main Menu" to choose the features you want to appear in the AssistiveTouch menu, such as Control Center, Siri, and Notification Center.
iPhone as a magnifier
Is the restaurant menu written in small font? Open Settings> Control Center> More Tools and click the plus sign next to Magnifier. Swipe up from the bottom of the screen to open the Control Center and click the zoom icon. You will see what you wanted on the screen.
