Time for iOS 15 - what's new in the iPhones and is it worth installing the system on the day of the premiere?

September is the release time of new iPhones, but also a new system that will go to older devices.This year, owners of previous generations of devices will gain a lot of useful changes.For two months I have been using iOS 15 beta and I can share my experiences with you.For me, iOS 15 is the reason why you should have an iPhone.

iOS 15 will be available to all devices for which iOS 14 was also available.These are iPhones SE 1 and 2nd generation and all iPhones from 6s and up, as well as iPod Touch.The update includes iPhones, which premiered since September 2015.So we even have 7 years of support.At the same time, it must be remembered that not all functions are available on every device, they can be cut and operate on devices with A12 processor or newer.Also, the speed of operation and satisfaction with use may also be different.IOS 15 in beta versions I used on last year's iPhone 12 Pro model.

New weather application

Let's start with something not necessarily obvious, but also showing how wide changes have occurred in iOS 15.The new system is at least a dozen changes that you can see and the user experiences during use.However, there are also dozens of new opportunities for developers that will only affect us in the future when we use specific applications.Of course, not all functions created by Apple are equally adopted or their adaptation lasts longer than expected.In 2020, for example, "mini applications" APP Clip appeared, which we will practically not experience in Poland for now.Such examples can be multiplied.However, it is important, however, that in subsequent IOS we get a lot of new products almost throughout the system.

Apple has redesigned a completely native weather application.This is due to the takeover by Apple Start-up with your own very extensive Appa.Now the native application offers very detailed weather data provided in a friendly way.Stylistically, it refers to previous versions, but definitely the information is given better and there is more of them.The map with virtualization of rainfall in the next hours looks great and in addition it is quite accurate.

Text recognition function in the pictures and from the camera

What IOS 15 personally bought me is the text recognition in the pictures with the apparatus turned on.Now, browsing our gallery, we are able to select the phone number visible in the photo and call it immediately.In this way, we can also quickly copy the text, even from some label or newspaper and use it in your notes or sent e-mail.Although the function does not support the Polish language, it works efficiently and also reads our language with some minor stumbles at Polish signs.Where it is useful, it usually doesn't matter much.Personally, I prefer to convert a fragment of a culinary recipe hunted somewhere into a text in notes than to have it in the form of a photo.It is great that, for example, scanning of the camera text is available directly in the window of creating a new text message.All you have to do is hold the moments on it.This is really a function that if we get used to, it will be useful and irreplaceable for us.

Controversial Safari browser

In three months Safari in iOS 15 underwent several drastic changes.Apple programmers have proposed revolutions in the approach to navigation in the browser, but finally the user will have options for restoring more standard navigation.This key change is to transfer the address bar downhill to bottom.This solution really requires a change in habits and habits.Especially since the web browser is a key element of the system and everyday use of the phone for me.I have not changed to the previous version, I use the lower belt and it has its advantages.The change is at hand, you don't have to pull your finger up the screen.Gestures play an important role in the new safari, which allow you to jump very quickly between the cards.Besides, we can also create card groups.If someone decides to find out to change, they will gain a really functional browser.However, for many people this change may be unacceptable.

Our memories in an even better form

Photos in iOS 15 are not only text recognition.It is also, for example, rapidly saving photos received from loved ones and friends and displaying them grouped in messages.As well as detailed information about each photo under the photo or a convenient possibility to describe each shot."Intelligent creation of memories" has also been improved - now the iPhone combines dots even better and suggests interesting photos of photos and the videos assembled from them.This is a thing that pleases the eyes and allows you to go back to nice memories.For me it's a great thing, I have photos in my iCloud from over 30 years, recognized faces of loved ones and it works effectively and pleasant.Sending grandmother a nicely assembled movie with photos of a granddaughter from the last week is really what is appreciated in the family.And in the case of iOS 15 are two clicks.

Safety and privacy above all

For years, Apple has emphasized the safety of its devices and care for user privacy.The company went a step further in iOS 15.Apple iCloud+ cloud users have gained access to iCloud private relay, which is actually VPN-A Apple, where our IP address, location and other network activities are encrypted..Apple also allows us to hide the e-mail address even more efficiently, creating unique random e-mail addresses, for example for newsletters and other services.For all users, Apple has prepared privacy security in the postal application.In the beta version, the VPN function worked on average, mainly due to the failure to adapt the application and problems, for example, the transition to payments.To the extent that the iCloud Private Relay function will also be available as beta after the official debut of the new version of the system.It is an attempt to make you aware of completely unconscious users, make them easier for them to live in the thicket of the network.However, these are functions that require explanation, showing and while this communication will be in the United States, it is not much with us who is to lead it.

Working modes - something for well -organized

An interesting option are different focus modes (Focus Mode).It is an extension of the idea behind the Sen mode, which can automatically start in the evening and turn off in the morning.Thanks to it, just before falling asleep, all disagreements are eliminated.Now you can create many such modes and even define what our screen with applications for each of them should look like.It's an interesting idea to create modes for work, entertainment, weekend, meetings etc..If we devote a moment for configurations, we are able to use the phone more efficiently, and also use our everyday life by limiting the use of the phone for unnecessary distractions.

Links from friends finally where we need them

In iOS 15, a big advantage is the penetration of the application and all system functions.Thanks to this, many things really happen semi -automatically or more efficiently.What I really appreciate is the fact that all the links that my wife or dad in the messages, for example, are also visible on the main page of Safari.It is similar with the works shared by friends at Apple Music.This is a great option, because such links disappear in the thicket of conversations, as well as songs.And we get them when we really want to use a web browser or listen to music.

Integration with loved ones is quite wide in iOS 15, now we can, for example, share some of our health results.This is a good option for seniors, where we can actually look at their pulse.

Delayed viewing together

At the time of the iOS 15 debut, the SharePlay function will not be available, which is to be one of the important in the new system and response to the world changing after the pandemic and our relations with loved ones.Thanks to it, we can watch movies and series in selected services, share music, etc..Apple wants us to spend more time with loved ones and friends using a guy.We'll see if it will succeed, whether it will work.

iOS 15 are a lot of other functions, such as spatial sound in guy or various microphone modes in conversations.Besides, now you will be planning to be planned for guy and it will be a competition for such an application as a zoom.

Some of the novelties in Poland will not be noticeable.This is the case with Apple maps, which are still very limited with us, although they navigate better and better.However, searching for places in them, or options related to public transport are completely defective.For now, we will not add an ID card to the portfolio application, because this function will only be available in selected American states.Also, the Fittnes+ service will not be available in Poland.

There are no revolutions and significant jumps between successive versions of the mobile system.However, iOS 15 is definitely a big change if we combine all these elements and start using them.Anyone who intensively uses their iPhone will see these changes and appreciate.Some require habit (privacy and safari), some for full use requires a change in habits.However, the rest will be extremely natural.These are definitely changes for the better.
