A great camera and face recognition in Apple phones forced controversial design decisions at one time. iPhone 14 is supposed to fix them all.
The iPhone is equipped with one of the best mobile cameras on the market - although in return the camera module in the phone protrudes unbearably beyond the outline of the housing. iPhone also has top-notch biometric security - which takes up valuable display space. Something for something. But does it always have to be this way?
The advancing technology development and the associated miniaturization are expected to finally make the iPhone look elegant again. The indentation in the screen - the so-called notch - is not to be needed anymore. The camera is also not supposed to protrude beyond the housing. This is what Jon Prosser, a well-known journalist who often publishes relevant information about upcoming Apple products.
iPhone 14. Notch and the camera island are to disappear.
The indentation in the screen is to be replaced with a small hole, similar to the Samsung Galaxy phones. The camera, despite the perfect alignment with the housing, is to be equipped with many lenses, LED flash and LiDAR scanner.
The phone itself is to be reinforced with titanium construction elements. The appearance of the side volume buttons will also change - they are to be round, as in the past in the iPhone 4 and 5. The texture of the microphone and speaker covers will also be different. Unfortunately, phones will still rely on the Lightning connector instead of something more universal. At least some of the models. The iPhone 14 is expected to go on sale around September next year. So far, the premiere of the iPhone 13 is approaching.
