The manufacturer believes that users deserve the cleanest Android possible, without redundant and duplicate software. At the same time, it makes My UX available to users, which allows them to personalize the interface to their own preferences and adds liked and useful moto functions.
Motorola's Android 12 smartphones will follow a design language called Material You. Thanks to this, when the user only changes the wallpaper, the entire interface will be color-matched to ensure a consistent design of the entire system.

Access to personalization settings will be available from the main screen menu. There you will also find options to change the style and size of fonts, colors, shape and layout of icons, device sounds, display size and wallpaper.
The way of communicating with other people will also change in the new system. The update to Android 12 will bring a completely new conversation widget - message information will always be on top and in the central part of the screen, so that the user does not miss new notifications, including missed calls and birthdays.

The new system is also a major update on user privacy issues. They will see a new indicator on the screen each time an application uses a microphone or camera, and they will also be able to completely block all programs from accessing these components from the quick settings.
Another new feature is the ability to grant selected applications access to a rough location (instead of an exact location), as well as the Privacy Dashboard, where the user can see when different applications have accessed location, camera and microphone in the last 24 hours.
At the same time, the manufacturer announces that after updating to Android 12 it will be possible to play games that have not yet been fully downloaded, and Moto Gametime will take mobile gaming to a completely new level, because it will allow, among others, block incoming notifications, record on-screen gameplay and change audio settings.
Motorola also ensures that Android 12 will allow you to switch from an old smartphone to a new one even faster, even from an iPhone. In addition, in 2022, My UX and Ready For platform updates as well as new camera features will appear.
