The well-known X-DORIA brand is responsible for the creation of the Raptic Shield PRO case. The case itself is perfectly matched to the grip of the hand, allows you to comfortably operate the phone, write messages, at the same time it looks good and is incredibly resistant thanks to the metal construction with polycarbonate inserts.
If you were looking for a case for your iPhone, apart from the most simple ones available in the phone manufacturer's store, you were probably at first struck by the enormity of the offer, and then smothered by the senselessness of most of them.
Unfortunately, most of them are overcomplicated constructions that change the shape of the phone, make it difficult to use or simply do not protect it, and that's what we use the case for. If it wasn't for the need to protect a delicate phone made of steel and glass, then everyone would like to carry an iPhone without anything.
However, the fact in the form of horrendous repair prices for damaged screens or glass casings means that hardly anyone is brave enough to be able to afford using the phone on a daily basis without any protection.
Raptic Shield Pro is a case for the iPhone 13 Pro, which at first did not make a spectacular impression on me, at least until I put it on my phone.
It was only when I put the phone case on and held it in my hand that I was amazed at how the lines of this case were drawn, how the phone was intended to be used with one and two hands, and how much construction was done to make this operation as most comfortable.
I liked this case so much during use that I've been wearing it non-stop for over 2 weeks, although there are more to review... The body of this case is made of anodized metal. This makes it extremely robust and provides a high level of protection in the event of a fall.
As the manufacturer assures, our phone should successfully survive a fall on a hard surface from a height of up to 4 meters. I will not pretend that I checked the strength from so high, but completely without my desire and need, the phone decided to test the level of protection twice by itself, when it slid from the documents on my desk to the floor.
The second time, while getting out of the car, it fell out of my pocket straight onto the pavement. While the fall on the panels did not impress me or him much - here I was almost sure that nothing would happen, the cobblestones made my heart beat harder.
Insurance is the basis at the current prices of smartphones, so I accepted the fall coldly. And fortunately, because neither on the phone nor even on the case did it make a greater impression.
The high resistance of the Raptic Shield Pro case is due to the hybrid construction. The body is metal, as I mentioned. However, the entire structure is made of polycarbonate, which is not only a resistant material, but also highly absorbent, and at the same time able to dissipate the impact force.
To make that not enough, the manufacturer covered this case with a special antibacterial layer. Considering that a public toilet with what is happening on the surfaces of our smartphones seems to be super hygienic, such protection against bacteria and other microbes seems to make a lot of sense.
The case around the phone housing is black with almost flat keys. This goes very well with the black front of the iPhone 13 Pro.
Much more happens on the back, where you can see a metal frame in a dark gray color and transparent polycarbonate, which reveals the logo of the manufacturer of our phone with its transparency.
The manufacturer also took care of our huge iPhone 13 Pro cameras.
The powerful lenses protruding very much above the housing line have been subtly surrounded by a collar that protects the camera glass when placing the phone on the table or even when falling on a flat surface.
The phone holds insanely. Profiled edges, a not too bulging body are the greatest advantages in terms of comfort of use. Honestly, this is one of the coolest cases I've tested not only for the iPhone 13 Pro, but in general that I've tested. I highly recommend.
The case was lent by the TopBuy.eu shop for testing
