Recently, the MX Keys Mini Logi keyboard, which is a smaller version of the popular keyboard with the same name, but without "mini".The smaller version is devoid of the numeric section on the right, which made it definitely more compact, and at the same time - prettier and much better composing with minimalist setups.Thus, when I saw this keyboard for the first time after the presentation, I knew I wanted to have it.And it happened, the MX Keys Mini logi settled on my desk and everything indicates that he will not leave this place quickly.

What can we find in the sales set?

The keyboard is packed in a small (as well as the keyboard) cardboard box.Inside, of course, apart from the keyboard itself (which is definitely the epicenter of all events here) we will also find a cable ended with a USB-C connector on two sides and paper, which consists of a user manual.

As this is the "For Mac" version, joining the set of the USB-C cable on both sides is a very good move, because we charge the keyboard directly with our computer.

Logi MX Keys Mini is a beautiful keyboard.Beautiful and very solidly made.Although it is small, because its size is as follows:

yes it is relatively heavy.The weight is 506.4 g, which is the most advantage, not a disadvantage as you can initially deduce.The weight makes the keyboard stable in one position, which also translates rubber legs, which they do without error what they were created for.For over a month, I didn't have a single situation when the keyboard would move even a millimeter while writing.So if we talk about comfort of use, it is so flawless.

The keyboard is made entirely of plastic, which in the white version has a steel structure that imitates aluminum.The producer of the moment, however, is that the design itself was based on one metal plate.It looks very good, and the lack of "real" aluminum outside completely does not bother.The whole structure is folded flawlessly, there are no moving elements, nothing "summer", nothing jumps.As if the classic said - there is a fairy tale!

Going further into the structure itself, it can be said that the keyboard consists of two elements that have been "set up".The first element is the white element in which all electronics and battery were placed (I suppose).

On this part, the Turn/off slider is also located, the USB-C port (located in such a way that you can conveniently use the keyboard during charging), as well as the LED that signals the state of the keyboard to us.The second element, which consists of the whole structure, is the part with the keys preserved in silver, imitating aluminum texture.

Possibility to connect three devices

The keyboard is fully compatible with MAC computers, as well as an iPad.This is a universal design that can connect to three devices, and the user with the help of function keys has the ability to quickly switch between paired devices.

The user is informed which device is currently selected, thanks to LEDs that are on the F1, F2 and F3 keys.The whole "system" of switching between devices is almost exemplary.After selecting the device we are interested in, which is assigned to one of the three keys, the whole operation takes a fraction of a second when the keyboard switches to another device.Easily and intuitive, i.e. just like we all like.

Many people compare the Logi MX Keys Mini keyboard to the Apple keyboard, or Magic Keyboard.This comparison, unfortunately, is wrong, because both keyboards share only one common feature - small size.All the rest is completely different.Starting from the keys, which in the case of the Logitech keyboard are profiled so that they are felt under the finger, to the lack of backlight (the pictures show the keyboard in the MacBook).

Another feature that distinguishes this keyboard is the key jump, which is much higher than in the case of an Apple keyboard.As for me, this is definitely a more convenient solution, because we actually feel that only a "deeper" press of the key makes the sign we pressed on the screen.

In my opinion, the feeding of writing is definitely better, and the keys in the keyboard logs are simply more pleasant.This is by far the best keyboard I had the opportunity to write on, come on, I must admit that it took me a moment before I got used to its unique character.

Backlight - that is what every night brands appreciate.How is the time of working on the battery?

An element that distinguishes the Logi MX Key Mini Logi keyboard is buttons backlight.In this case, many people could say at the beginning that the use of the backlight drastically affects the work on the battery.And here I will surprise you.Logitech used contactless sensors that detect or hold our hands on the keyboard or we are currently not using it.

The backlight turns on the same as soon as we bring our hands to the keys.It works phenomenally and it never happened that the keys do not highlight as soon as I approached my fingers at the right distance - it always works, regardless of the lighting conditions.

The brightness of the backlight is also adapted to the current lighting conditions to save energy even more, but also to affect comfort - after all, we do not always need the maximum illuminated buttons.By the backlight, we can also control manually using the function keys on the keyboard.

The MX Keys Mini Logi keyboard works for 10 days from full charging - or up to 5 months with the backlight off.We can use the keyboard, of course, during charging, this is also another advantage that affects the complete functionality of the device.

In Bluetooth settings in the MacOS system we also have the option of previewing what percentage of the link remained in the battery.
