Apple finally reached an agreement with Chinese subcontractors on the production of screens for the iPhone 13. BOE received a new contract despite the fact that the company was previously rejected because it did not meet the requirements set by Apple.
The giant from Cupertino added BOE to the list of subcontractors of components for the latest smartphones from the iPhone 13 family. This is a contract that the Chinese have been striving for for a long time.

The company from Beijing, after passing the verification process, will deliver panels for the iPhone 13 mini and iPhone 13.
So far, BOE displays have been delivered to Apple smartphones. However, these were only the units being repaired or refurbished. Now BOE panels will go to brand new copies.
Will the new contract cause the iPhone 13 to be produced with inferior screens in the future? It is certain that LG and Samsung have the best facilities for the production of OLED panels. BOE, on the other hand, has been producing displays for Huawei's flagship models for a long time. The company likely needed to improve its manufacturing process to pass Apple's stringent testing and requirements.
Future smartphones from the iPhone 13 family may offer minimal differences in the quality of the displayed image, but they will not be visible to the naked eye. Only after pairing the iPhone 13 with the Samsung, LG and BOE screens, slight differences may be visible
