An Apple Event took place last night, where Apple presented its latest devices. In addition to iPad mini, iPads and Apple Watch 7, of course, we got the flagship product of the giant from Cupertino, i.e. the iPhone 13.

A smartphone from Apple is available in four variants. These are, of course, the basic iPhone 13, iPhone 13 mini, iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max. Each of them has its pros and cons, but it is the Pro versions that enjoy a big novelty, i.e. recording movies in 4K ProRes quality.

iPhone 13 Pro with 4K ProRes movies, but...

During the conference, the device's capabilities were presented, but as it turns out, the 4K HiRes function is available on the iPhone 13 Pro, but only with a capacity of 256 GB or more. To sum up - the iPhone 13 Pro in the 128 GB version will not support such recording. This is a significant difference, because certainly not one person was convinced to buy such a novelty. It is worth remembering, however, that we must then choose a larger internal capacity of the device.

New cameras

The new camera setup in the iPhone 13 is the most advanced rear dual-lens setup yet by Apple. It is supposed to offer more light in the photos and less noise in the image. The presented samples showed the power of the new lenses, especially in terms of taking pictures in low light and at night.

When will the premiere of the iPhone 13?

According to what Apple has accustomed us to, new iPhones will be released in the coming weeks. It was similar last year, when the pandemic thwarted a lot, even disrupted the supply chains of individual components that are necessary to assemble an iPhone. Pre-sales of new smartphones will start on Friday, September 17.

Prices for the new iPhone 13 from Apple will start at $699. The basic version of the smartphone will be available in two versions:

IPhone 13 Pro and Pro Max

According to Apple's latest strategy, the announcement of the new iPhone 13 Pro (6.1 inches) and iPhone 13 Pro Max (6.7 inches) could not be missing. Smartphones will have 3 lenses on the back of the housing and a 5-core A15 Bionic processor. They are equipped with OLED Super Retina XDR screens. The displays will also have Pro Motion adaptive refresh up to 120 Hz.

The iPhone 13 Pro and Pro Max have 3 lenses each: portrait telephoto, wide and ultra-wide. In this case, as with the iPhone 13, Apple praises the new possibilities for taking photos in low light conditions. Thanks to the new technology, the iPhone 13 Pro and Pro Max will also be able to take advanced macro photos.
