iOS 15 is the next major release of the operating system that powers iPhone. The change in the number suggests that we are talking about a major development update that introduces a lot of new features. This is true, but this year's changes will be practically unnoticeable for normal users from our country.
Apple unveiled new FaceTime, updated Messages, redesigned Safari browser, refreshed Weather, and lots of smaller changes.

As usual during the WWDC 2021 conference, the company did not present all the elements that will appear in iOS 15.
Fortunately, the operating system in the Developer Preview 1 version has already reached developers from around the world. As every year, they took a close look at the software, its capabilities and the source code. It quickly turned out that iOS 15 hides some interesting options that will go to iPhone users this fall. What solutions are we talking about?
Classic time wheel
iOS 14 introduced a new time selection menu that most users did not like. Apple apparently took the advice of iPhone owners to heart and decided to bring back the classic hour and minute wheel to iOS 15.
In addition to the classic circle, we can also use the numeric keypad, which will conveniently allow you to enter a given time.
Importantly, this solution will appear throughout iOS 15.
Custom text size for each application
Now we'll move on to the accessibility option, but most users will probably use it. We are talking about the possibility of defining an individual text size for each application.
In iOS 14, a button appeared that, when added to the Control Center, allows you to change the size of the displayed text on the fly. However, the solution works only within the entire system.
In iOS 15, the user will be able to choose to change globally (system-wide) or only in the active application. Importantly, the system will remember our choice. This means that after returning to the application, we will still be able to use it with the previously defined font size.
Back to text selection magnifying glass
In iOS 12 and earlier, when selecting text, we had a magnifying glass that magnified part of the text and allowed us to more conveniently reach the fragment we were interested in. Apple removed this option in iOS 13. At the time, we suspected that the decision was made due to the constantly increasing diagonal of the iPhone.
Fortunately, after a two-year hiatus, text selection magnifier is back in iOS 15.
Dragging from Spotlight to Home Screen
Small thing, but fun. Apple in iOS 15 allows you to drag applications found using the Spotlight search engine directly to the home screen. When you lose an application or you only have it in the application library, you can search for it in Spotlight and quickly add it to one of the screens of your iPhone.
Remember - iOS 15 is currently in the initial testing phase. We have no guarantee that the above-mentioned options will appear in the final release of iOS 15. Some of them may receive modified functionality or appearance.
