Apple lists for free displays in iPhones 11. A service program has started

Unfortunately, in retrospect, it turned out that the weakest link of the iPhone 11 in the form of a display for some copies was faulty.Not only the panel had a very low resolution, but in some cases a factory defect was revealed after some time.

Apple admits that some of the iPhones 11 may have faulty screens and promises that at the request of users they will exchange them for free.The company, of course, argues that only a "small percentage" of equipment has a display fault that can cause a lack of response to touch.

The replacement program covers devices produced between November 2019.and May 2020.Customers who want to check if their equipment is covered by the program can do it on the website prepared for this purpose.To do this, just enter the serial number of your device.

Apple's website will check this number and display information whether this copy of the iPhone 11 has been qualified for free repair.

If the company confirms that the phone qualifies for repairing the display under the program, you should contact Apple via e.g..authorized reseller and arrange a diagnosis device.People who previously repaired the iPhone 11 screen on their own may ask for reimbursement.

Apple reserves that it may (but does not have to) limit the availability of the program to the country where the device was purchased.Thus, iPhones 11 from Polish distribution are to be repaired in our country without a problem, but in the case of models imported from abroad, there is no such certainty.

It is worth noting that this is not the first time Apple has introduced a service program that allows you to repair a defective device for free, regardless of whether it is still covered by a warranty or warranty.The most infamous case are keyboards in MacBooks and batteries in iPhones 6S.
