"Apple smartphones don't twist, they stick together." "Apple smartphones are disposable." "Apple smartphones are hopeless to service." There are a lot of similar opinions about iPhones, but it turns out that we will have more problems with the repair of Xiaomi Mi 11 than with the iPhone 12.
Xiaomi Mi 11 surprisingly difficult to repair
It is difficult to compare the service potential of individual smartphone models. It has become common to say that iPhones are good but troublesome to repair. To some extent this is true, but these devices are often compared with Android smartphones, suggesting that the latter is much easier to service. And the button.
Specialists from iFixit regularly disassemble new smartphones, assessing how easy a given model is to service. Perhaps it will surprise some, but Xiaomi Mi 11 is not as easy to fix as it seems. On the plus side, one type of screwdriver is enough to disassemble the housing, and many components have a modular structure. For example, the screen can be replaced without removing the battery. However, a lot of disadvantages have been pointed out, for example:

The flagship Xiaomi is harder to repair than the iPhone
I usually make fun of Apple as a manufacturer that introduces various new products with delays to its smartphones and there is no opinion of a company that specifically cares that iPhones they were especially easy to fix. This time, however, honor should be given to Cook and the company, because iOS smartphones are slightly more friendly to service technicians than the flagship Xiaomi Mi 11 - at least in the opinion of iFixit. Such an iPhone 12 gained 6 points, maintaining a similar level as the iPhone 11 or iPhone XS.
It should also be emphasized that this is not the first such situation - the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra is even less welcome by service technicians, because the specialists' assessment was 3/10. So it turns out that it is better to repair the iPhone than the flagship of the competition.
