Samsung is supposedly working on a new phone for fans: Galaxy S21 Fe

The Galaxy S20 FE smartphone turned out to be a great success for Samsung, so it's not surprising that the manufacturer is thinking about a new edition of models for fans. The first leaks show that work on the Galaxy S21 Fan Edition is already underway.

The Galaxy S20 FE series - the 4G and 5G models - brought success to Samsung, which was due to the great specification, unusual colors and housing material for the Galaxy S series, as well as a reasonable price. The smartphone is well rated by technology services, it has also met with great interest from buyers. In such a situation, Samsung could not fail to try to repeat its achievement.

According to the Sammobile website, citing its own source at the manufacturer, work on such a device is already underway. Although the name of the Galaxy S21 FE is not specifically mentioned, it is known that the phone has the code number SM-G990B. The website suggests that this is the new incarnation of the Fan Edition. The currently available S20 FE 5G has the designation SM-G781B, while the Galaxy S21 - the symbol SM-G991. Previously, there were rumors that the SM-G990 would be the LTE variant of the Galaxy S21 phone, but according to Sammobile, this symbol with the letter B at the end means the new FE.

The alleged Galaxy S21 FE will provide 5G connectivity, will be available in 128 GB or 256 GB memory variants, and will be managed by Android 11 with One UI 3.1. An indication that this is the FE model are the color variants - the phone with the symbol SM-G990B is to be available in gray / silver, pink, purple and white housing. Such a color scheme actually fits the idea of ​​models for fans.

If this is actually the Galaxy S21 FE, its premiere should be expected only in the second half of the year. Presumably, the phone will be based on the Galaxy S21 5G model, but it will not be exactly the same device with a new housing, but like last year, the manufacturer will introduce some changes that will make it a more original model.
