On December 2, 2020, you could see how the first Samsung devices received One UI 3.0. Of course, this initially concerned the Galaxy S20 devices in the American Verizon network. Then the update successively appeared on other devices around the world. This is how my Galaxy S20 Ultra arrived at the end of December.

I did not like One UI 3.0
I really appreciate Samsung for the quick update. However, at first glance, One UI 3.0 did not captivate me. For example, stretching the notification bar makes it take up the entire screen, which was not the case in the previous version. I also don't like the improved icons. I have the impression that the system is less aesthetic than before the update. Finally, the update introduced lags, e.g. when viewing Instagram stories. It is an extremely irritating experience. Unfortunately, Samsung has never been known for the super-smooth operation of its overlays. However, I hope this will be fixed in the future.
