I abandoned Android and bought an iPhone 12. Here is my first impressions

It happened - I abandoned Android and bought an iPhone 12, but only because it was cheap.I paid PLN 3,400 for my 128-gigabyte copy, which is in my opinion an honest amount.I mention this because I wrote earlier that I will not buy an iPhone 12, includingdue to its unusually high price.I spent one day with the latest flagship from Apple so far.Here is my first impressions of its use.

iPhone 12 - first impressions

On the iPhone 12 I switched from Galaxy S10e, which is without a doubt the best Android smartphone I used privately.Every day I also use the MacBook Pro 2019, so I decided on the Apple smartphone, among othersDue to the fact that I will be able to integrate it with the computer, which will noticeably make my life easier.At the moment I have not been able to do it yet, because ISSAGE does not want to cooperate, but with time I will probably get it somehow.

After the first launch of the iPhone 12, I immediately liked the OLED screen.The display is simply great - its quality is at the highest level.Everything is very sharp, the viewing angles are great, and the colors reproduced perfectly.I dare say that in this respect I prefer the iPhone 12 from my worn and cracked Galaxy S10e.

Then I started configuring my new acquisition.I set the password, and I turned on the face ID, i.e. a face recognition system created by Apple, performing the function of biometric protection.I honestly admit that it was face ID that was the most, because I thought that using this solution could be annoying at times.Oh, how was I wrong.I have unlocked my phone at least 100 times and Face ID did not disappoint me even once - whether in normal lighting or in total darkness and at a strange angle.As if that was not enough, thanks to this function the process of unlocking the phone is extremely fast.However, I realize that the times of Pandemic, this is not the perfect solution.

After switching from Galaxy S10e, I was also afraid of a great notch in the iPhone 12. I am surprised myself, but I don't pay attention to him anymore.As for the overall performance of the new Apple flagship, of course I have nothing to fault.Everything works here extremely smoothly and simply quickly.As in the case of a new phone, after starting and configuring it, I spent a moment in the settings.This is nothing big, but I feel that I have to mention it - I have found a function that I can do screenshots in a very convenient way, and start the process of listening in the Shazam application.To make a screen I just have to tap twice on the back of the smartphone, and in order to call Shazam - three.Little thing, and enjoys and makes life easier.

As for the iPhone 12 camera, I have enough mixed feelings.On the one hand, I see a clear advantage over the Galaxy S10e in the quality of photos, and on the other I photograph myself quite coarse, mainly due to the time that the camera needs to be focused.For a definite plus I have to include night and portrait mode.I particularly like the latter, because it allows you to focus on one object and the background is blurred.Importantly, it doesn't look cheesy - for a few photos I took, they were all very nice.

What am I missing with Android?

Transfer to the new system always hurts a little.I must admit that in iOS I lack several solutions present in my old Android smartphone.Examples?I am not able to turn off the screen backlight when the notification comes.I can not take photos with voice commands in a convenient way (you need to gymnastics, including a certain function and using strange wording).

Fortunately, these are not solutions that I can't do without.In time I will probably get used to it, but I will also find more aspects that I will be able to stick to.Well - life.In general, iOS is a great system.Full -screen gestures do the job.

First impressions from the iPhone 12 - Summary

So far I am very positively surprised and I do not regret that I bought a new Apple flagship.At the full price (PLN 4499) I would certainly not do it, but for PLN 1,100 less - by all means.
