Some time ago, Konrad wrote that AirPods have no competition on the market. It was December 2018 - and in fact, at that time, they were the only reasonably sensible in-ear headphones on the market, except for them ... they were actually only Chinese clones. A lot of water has passed in the rivers since then - Chinese clones have arrived (some are supposed to be excellent), but besides, Huawei with Freebuds 3, Realme Buds Air jumped into the game, and just a few days ago, OnePlus - or OnePlus Budsy - also announced its proposal. And ... actually that's it, there's not much to choose from. As the tests are shorter, they are longer, but sooner or later you have to return the equipment - it's time to buy new headphones for your own. I still use wireless a-jays four secretly, but I appreciate them more in closed rooms (gym, plane, office) than on the road. The reason is simple - I think they cut me off too much. That's why, in fact, the final duel was played between Huawei and Apple headphones. And despite the fact that I use iPhone, iPad and Macbook every day, I still ... chose Huawei headphones.

I could pay extra for Airpods, but why if all earbuds are disposable?

The AirPods Pro are fun - but first: the scary thing is that someone talks non-stop about the problems they have with them. Secondly - they are chosen mainly by people who care about "cutting off" from the world. Thirdly - in the best offers you have to pay about PLN 1,000 for them, and this is still equipment that will last up to two years - later, like all other constructions of this type, the handset will not work for more than 20 minutes on a single charge. Such is the charm of tiny structures with batteries that do not last forever.

AirPods 2 with induction charging in popular stores costs about PLN 750. And I'm talking about a nice price and avoiding suspicious auctions on Allegro (on the other hand: there is no chance hunting). In the official Apple store - you have to pay a thousand for them. Cosmos. Well, if I were to take AirPods, it's just such - we have 2020, I don't remember when I used the Lightning cable to charge my smartphone or headphones - let's be serious. I will also not play with special cases and combinations, why?

The examination of conscience suggested to take Huawei. A quick tinker and it turned out that even when the batteries in the Huawei headphones in 2 years will be ridiculously short, when buying a new pair, I will still not beat the purchase price of Airpods Pro.

You know what's the funniest thing about it all? That, yes, Apple headphones are not the cheapest, but the Pro in their category are not particularly expensive - because all these devices cost more or less. And I do not see problems in the price of these devices, but in their durability. Because a thousand zlotys for a device that is disposable without any maneuver option (you cannot replace the battery yourself, in Poland - from what I can see - there is no option to cover it at a lower price - the relevant price list is on the American website, but there is no local one, and one new handset costs so much that instead of replacing the set - it is more profitable to buy a new one) sounds terrible to me. And if the qualitatively similar (identical?) Huawei works on the same principle, and by the way they cost much less, why should I overpay?

At least without full system support, I won't see my battery life drop overnight. And when they stop working - without major qualms I will buy another pair of headphones - maybe there will be more earbuds by then.
