Looking for headphones unlike any you've ever seen? Huawei FreeBuds Lipstick is a great proposition for the fair sex! Ready to check what seduced us in this model?
If you were surprised to see the above question addressed to the ladies, then you have to look closely at the Huawei FreeBuds Lipstick headphones - because their unusual construction clearly indicates the target group. We invite you to review the key features of the latest Huawei proposal!

Lipsticks shock with their form, but on a purely technical level, we will not find reasons to complain here either. First of all, people who have already dealt with headphones of this type know that it is difficult to count on an outstanding working time. The construction without a physical barrier that stops outside noises forces a strong ANC, which is power-hungry: with noise reduction, we can count on 2.5 hours of work.
The manufacturer has not forgotten about the recently fashionable proximity sensor, responsible for autopause after removing the handset from the ear. We also find here quick pairing, a dedicated application (but Huawei smartphones are doing great without it), Bluetooth 5.2 (no delays, which we will feel primarily when watching movies) and control with volume control thanks to the handset.
When design means something more

The new model combines two worlds: a proven design that Huawei is famous for and a case that the True Wireless world has never seen before.
Huawei risky threw everything on one scale and proposed a design that will catch the eye of the fair sex, because ... the case looks like lipstick! In this way, someone finally appeared who sees that headphones have not only utility functions, but also should charm with their appearance and complement the image.
'Buds' impresses with a shimmering red and silvery finish. Even such details as the mesh protecting the inside of the handset have been taken care of - it is made of metal, thanks to which it looks elegant and perfectly fulfills its task.

Our editorial office has never hosted such unusual headphones that could boast an almost magnetic impact not only on users. In fact, everyone stopped for a moment seeing them lying on the desk and wondered if it was a gadget or a real lipstick. The case is metal and this applies to every element with which we come into contact there.
This is one of those cases where you can say something is premium in every way - it's not just about the amazing design and concept, but also the sliding mechanism and the feeling of using a high-end device.
The build quality is in a class of its own

Who would have thought that Huawei just entered the premium headphones with a model addressed to the fair sex. Yes, so far we have dealt with, for example, FreeBuds Pro - it's a solid device, but there was something missing that would allow us to say that these headphones are exceptional.
Lipstick is just like that, regardless of the optics we adopt! Not only is there simply no other headphones like this, but they have also been developed like a small work of art.

The case is made of metal, the edges of which are slightly rounded, and one is clearly wider. If you think that it is only because of the need to put a logo on it, you are wrong. Such a detail helps us to properly close the case by putting two of its elements on top of each other. A very strong magnet protects them against accidental opening - there is really no chance that the case will open on its own in a purse or backpack.
Applause for the fine-tuning of its disconnection and closing - it is accompanied by a pleasant clicking sound, which makes us feel like communing with a perfectly matched device. Similarly, taking the "buds" out of the case is convenient and pleasant, and a special groove supports them in their placement, as well as a strong magnet.
Sound? Full, juicy and mesmerizing!

Huawei offers an unusual sound, juicy, and at the same time not too nasal and able to reflect the midrange well. This is a surprising combination, because most True Wireless in-ear headphones have problems with the full scale of music.
Lipsticks will work well in any genre, although they will feel like lipstick on the lips primarily in electronic music, pop, funk, soul, rap - wherever the softness of the sound and the ability to reproduce low tones are welcome.
Huawei states that the headphones are equipped with mini-tubes, which increase the amplitude of diaphragm vibrations - they, combined with an impressive, over 14 mm transducer, are responsible for strong and vivid low tones.
An interesting fact is the Adaptive Ear Matching technology, adapting the sound to the unique shape of each ear canal and the way the headphones are worn. In practice, it may turn out that the Lipstick will sound a bit different for everyone, modeling the presentation in such a way that it reflects the physical preferences of each user.
This iteration of FreeBuds offers powerful sound that will energize you when you need it, or let you immerse yourself in music (especially with ANC!) when you're looking for a moment to yourself. What's most interesting, the manufacturer has achieved a better alignment thanks to software optimization - in contrast to the standard "four" we find here more space, and the whole thing is clearer.
ANC and semi-open headphones? It's a better and better combination!

The convenience of in-ear headphones is also an obstacle to reducing ambient noise. It is enough to remind you that most of the top designs on the market are in-ear and this is not accidental. Despite the fact that FreeBuds do not physically block the ear canal, ANC works surprisingly well in them and copes with most background noise that we encounter every day.
They will certainly not be a threat to work in office conditions, where they will easily mute the conversations of colleagues and enable comfortable teleconferences and remote meetings. Similarly, typical street noise, a TV program at an average volume level or the sounds of monotonously working devices (ventilation, coffee machine, but also a vacuum cleaner) will be effectively leveled.
In principle, we can have some doubts only in situations where the open structure will be an obstacle - that is, for example, in the case of very loud, bass music in the gym. But here, even the competition from the same price range has similar difficulties, and Huawei compensates for them with brilliant comfort of use, which is more about in the next paragraph.
Talk for hours? Great convenience and quality of voice transmission

Huawei has always known how to build headphones that will be almost imperceptible in the ear. It is this feature, combined with great quality microphones, that makes Huawei FreeBuds Lipstick one of the most comfortable models for remote work and calls.
Unlike in-ear headphones, in-ear models do not tire at all - even after a two-hour online meeting, you may not even notice that we were using headphones. Noteworthy is the recording of sound recorded by the microphones of the headphones at a sampling frequency of 48 kHz (we must then use a compatible Huawei smartphone), which will be appreciated by people recording their own podcasts or vlogs.
There is also the possibility of connecting to two Huawei devices at the same time and touch operation, which makes the use of the headphones intuitive (combinations of swipes and taps). What's most interesting, owners of brand phones do not even need to install the AI Life application used to manage FreeBuds - all important settings (with ANC and control at the forefront) can be found directly in the Bluetooth management panel.
Huawei FreeBuds Lipstick: price and availability
As you might expect, such an original and well-made model must cost accordingly and it was the Lipstick that became a bargaining chip for Huawei, which allows it to price its top headphones at as much as the highest models are estimated by the competition.
Note: Lipsticks are available in the pre-sale offer until November 21 - when you buy them, you will receive a PLN 200 voucher to the Douglas perfumery.
The recommended retail price of the device is PLN 999.
