The Internet operates in Belarus again.After a three -day break, on Wednesday morning (12.08.2020) social networking sites, messengers, as well as independent websites began to operate.

The first reports of the lack of internet appeared on August 9, 2020, i.e. on the day of the presidential election in Belarus.Both mobile or stationary internet did not work.The president argued that the lack of access to the network was the cause of foreign provocateurs who wanted to increase the dissatisfaction of society.

Belarus without the Internet

The internet did not work for 3 days.It was launched again only on Wednesday morning.After a break, communicators, social networking sites, people gained access to e-mail, as well as independent websites.Previously, only two operated - Onliner.by and Tut.by.There were only cut information about the situation from Belarus and the world.

Experts are of the opinion that the Internet in Belarus has been excluded by the authorities on purpose.Lack of access to the network was to make the flow of information difficult and disseminating information about protests.In recent days, Belarusians have gathered to express their opposition to the forged presidential elections.Protests occurred, among othersin Minsk and Brest.
